Inter remain in pole position to sign Brescia central midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

For weeks now Inter have had an agreement in place with Tonali’s representatives over personal terms but the Nerazzurri club are yet to reach an agreement with Brescia over their starlet.

Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino would like a deal worth €32 million plus add-ons for Tonali, who is widely regarded as one of the best Italian talents out there and who is also subject to interest from more than just Inter.

Juventus have also been linked with the 20-year-old sensation as have Inter’s city rivals AC Milan, who are refusing to give up in their pursuit to sign him and wish to contest a Milan derby on the transfer market for Tonali.

This season Tonali made 36 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored one goal and provided seven assists for his teammates.
