The future of Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to hang in the balance according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Aubameyang has just under one year left to run on his current contract with the Premier League club, who he has been with since January 2018, thus meaning clubs will be able to approach him on a pre-contract basis in a few months time provided he does not sign a new deal.

The Gabonese national team forward is strongly tempted by the prospect of a move to either Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain and he has also been heavily linked with a move to Inter in recent weeks and months, the report continues.

The report from the Milan based news outler goes on to explain that Inter have cooled their interest in signing the former Borussia Dortmund player, who they had identified as a potential replacement for Lautaro Martinez, who has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona and Manchester City.
