Barcelona captaion Lionel Messi has purchased an aprtment in the city of Milan according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

The Argentine national team player has followed in the footsteps of his father Jorge Messi by purchasing a residence in Milan and his purchase comes at a time where he is being heavily linked with a potential transfer to Inter in the Summer of 2021 when his contract with Barcelona expires.

As per the reports, Messi has bought a penthouse apartment close by to father Jorge, who obtained residency in the city for fiscal reasons. As per various reports, Jorge Messi’s residence is very close to Inter headquarters.

Messi’s future with Barcelona is currently up in the air. The multi-time world player of the year has spent his whole career with the Blaugrana side but with his contract expiring, many reports have suggested he could move on and take on a new challenge elsewhere.
