Photo – Inter Defender Diego Godin: “Great Win To Celebrate Javier Zanetti’s Birthday”

Inter central defender Diego Godin has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to celebrate Inter’s 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League and wish Inter vice-president a happy birthday.

The Uruguayan national team player made his 34th appearance across all competitions as goals from Nicolo Barella and Romelu Lukaku helped Inter to achieve a victory over the Bundesliga side at the Merkur Spiel-Arena.

The former Atletico Madrid captain posted an image of himself and Javier Zanetti and captioned the post: “Happy to return to a European semi-final with Inter ten years later! Great victory to celebrate your birthday Javier Zanetti.”
