Italian Broadcaster Claim Barcelona Captain Lionel Messi Silently Observing Inter From Lisbon

Barcelona captain Lionel Messi is observing what is going on at Inter in silence whilst in Lisbon according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

Due to his expiring contract status with Barcelona, who he has spent his entire playing career with, Messi has been linked with a potential switch to Inter and the rumours have only been fueled by the fact that both he and his father Jorge Messi have recently purchased property in the city of Milan.

This season Messi has made 43 appearances across all competitions to date. During his time on the park, which totals just over 3700 minutes, he has scored 31 goals and provided a total of 26 assists for his Blaugrana teammates.

The report from Sport Mediaset goes on to add that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are both back in Milan in order to work on transfer business.
