Inter could bring Genoa striker Andrea Pinamonti back to the club to be the fourth choice striking option according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giorno.

Ahead of the new season, it is largely expected that youngster Sebastiano Esposito will be loaned out to gain first team experience and Inter will therefore need to recruit a player capable of being the fourth choice striker.

Inter sold Pinamonti to Genoa ahead of the 2019/20 campaign and as part of that deal there is a gentleman’s agreement between the clubs which allows Inter to re-sign Pinamonti for a set amount.

Pinamonti has also seemingly got interest in his services from Inter’s arch rivals Juventus and reports elsewhere in the media have suggested he is not the only player being considered by Inter as a fourth choice striking option.

Reports elsewhere in the Italian media as of late have also linked Inter with Sampdoria’s Federico Bonazzoli as well as Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca.
