It is growing less and less likely that Inter will bring Emerson Palmieri to the club to bolster the left wing-back department according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giorno.

The likelihood of Inter and Fiorentina coming to an agreement over extending the respective loans of Cristiano Biraghi and Dalbert is increasing and if Biraghi stays with Inter there would be no need for the Nerazzurri club to bring Emerson Palmieri to the club as well given Inter also already have Ashley Young.

Inter have been linked with Emerson Palmieri for some time now but it would appear that the chances of him arriving at Inter from Chelsea are diminishing as time passes.

The Brazilian born Italian national team player made 21 appearances across all competitions to date for the Premier League club during the 2019/20 season in which he managed to register a single assist.
