Christian Eriksen has become an extra weapon for Inter in their Europa League journey according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The Danish national team player joined Inter in the most recent January transfer window from Tottenham Hotspur in a circa €20 million deal and he was initially criticised for his performances.

Eriksen has however shown character some doubted he had recently and the report explains that Eriksen will replace Alexis Sanchez, given his injury which could possibly keep him out for the remainder of the season.

The report goes on to add that Eriksen is the right man to replace Sanchez given his ability to play various roles and he has now finally understood what Inter manager Antonio Conte is asking of him.

Eriksen has played well in both of Inter’s last Europa League matches after coming off of the substitutes bench and now he has confidence.
