Inter wing-back Valentino Lazaro has two Bundesliga clubs interested in signing him to according to a report from Italian journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

The Austrian national team defender is set to return to Inter after a loan spell with Premier League side Newcastle United, who will not be taking up their option to buy him on a permanent basis.

As per Pedulla’s report, RB Leipzig and Borussia Monchengladbach have both made enquiries for the former Hertha Berlin player, who only joined Inter ahead of the 2019/20 season in a circa €20 million deal. Borussia Monchengladbach could perhaps even make an offer for Lazaro in the coming days.

In the first half of the 2019/20 season, Lazaro made 11 appearances across all competitions, in which he provided two assists. Whilst on loan at Newcastle United he made 15 appearances across all competitions and he scored a total of two goals for the St James’ Park outfit.
