Chelsea are open to selling wing-back Emerson Palmieri according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.it.

The Premier League club would be willing to part ways with the Brazilian born Italian national team player for a sum of €25 million although a deal could be done on the basis of a €20 million fee plus add-ons too.

Inter are long term admirers of Emerson and already have an agreement in principle with the player over a five year contract with an annual net salary of €2.2 million.

Antonio Conte’s uncertain future as manager of Inter has however led to negotiations stalling and the report states that Inter are not alone in courting Emerson either.

Napoli are also keen on signing the 26-year-old, who is keen to return to Italy, where he has previously played for both Roma and Palermo.

The report goes on to conclude that Emerson will demand an annual net salary of €3 million from Napoli due to them failing to qualify for next year’s Champions League.
