Inter president Steven Zhang and Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta will meet today to start planning the coming season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Zhang returned to Milan last night for the first time in five months having been stuck in his native China due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

In the meeting, the pair will discuss the transfer market and will also hold discussions over the future of Antonio Conte as manager of the club.

The report explains that discussions with Conte himself are postponed until after the Europa League and this was decided in recent weeks so to allow Inter to focus entirely on the task at hand.

Former Italian national team manager Conte’s future as Inter manager is up in the air following yet another public outburst after Inter’s Serie A season finale against Atalanta and it remains to be seen what will happen.
