Italian Media Claim Inter Will Sign Sandro Tonali Regardless Of Who The Coach Is Next Season

Inter will sign Sandro Tonali regardless of whether Antonio Conte remains as the club’s manager or not according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta wishes to conclude a deal for Tonali once Inter’s Europa League campaign is over.

Inter know they cannot take any more time and need to reach a deal with Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino, who they have had excellent relations with for many years, after having Tonali’s ‘yes’ for some time.

AC Milan have shown an interest as have Juventus but the Bianconeri club must raise funds first before attempting any move for the highly rated Italian national team player.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cellino is well aware that he can no longer demand €50 million for Tonali. His demands have dropped and Marotta hopes to be able to do a loan with obligation to buy deal totalling €35 million.

The report goes on to explain that Tonali wishes to know his next team by August 27, the day which the Italian national team training will meet to begin preparations for matches with Bosnia and the Netherlands.
