Real Madrid do not have a buy-back option on Inter’s newest recruit Achraf Hakimi according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Inter completed a deal to sign the Moroccan national team wing-back for €40 million plus add-ons back at the start of July from Los Blancos.

Whilst the Spanish powerhouses have no option to buy Hakimi back nor do they have a preferential lane to re-sign him, they will have the opportunity to match any bids that are made for Hakimi in two years time. In short, Inter will always control the situation and not Real Madrid.

Hakimi spent the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons on loan at Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and he cemented himself as one of the best young wing-backs on the planet during his spell with the German side.

The 21-year-old made 45 appearances across all competitions for Borussia Dortmund this season in which he scored an impressive nine goals and provided a total of 10 assists for his teammates.
