Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante and Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombele are both targets for Inter as they look to bolster their midfield ahead of the upcoming season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Kante was an essential part of Antonio Conte’s Chelsea side of a few years ago but the Frenchman is no longer as important for the Blues and is no longer deemed indispensable.

Should Inter sign Kante from Chelsea, he may not be the only Chelsea player who joins him at Inter with Inter continuing to have an interest in the Premier League club’s left wing-back Emerson Palmieri.

When it comes to Ndombele, Inter are thinking about conducting a possible swap deal for him involving Milan Skriniar, who, similarly to Kante, is reportedly seen as dispensable now by club management.

Lately, Skriniar has slid down the pecking order at Inter and has also been linked with Manchester City and Real Madrid.
