Roma captain Edin Dzeko is Inter’s top target to complete the attack according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

With Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez already at the club Inter are looking to complete their attack with the addition of a fourth striker as the club’s current fourtch choice Sebastiano Esposito is set to spend the upcoming season out on loan.

Inter have courted Dzeko in the past and they could well complete a deal for him this time round as Roma could be more open to letting him go due to their need to reduce their wage bill.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Chris Smalling, who spent the 2019/20 season out on loan at Roma from Manchester United, could be brought in to bolster the defence department. Manchester United have set an asking price of €20 million.
