Inter could try and sign Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if they sell either of Matias Vecino or Roberto Gagliardini according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giorno.
If either Vecino or Gagliardini depart the club for pastures new in the upcoming transfer window, Inter could try land a top player for the midfield and Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta dreams of signing Spanish born Serbian national team midfielder Milinkovic-Savic.
Vecino has been linked with a potential move to Napoli with reports suggesting Inter and Napoli could swap him and Allan whilst Gagliardini has recently been linked to Lazio with their manager Simone Inzaghi understood to be a big fan of the former Atalanta player.
This season Milinkovic-Savic made 43 appearances across all competitions. In his time on the park, the former KRC Genk player scored a total of eight goals and also provided eight assists for his teammates.
