Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is one of the names Roma are considering as they look to find themselves a new sporting director according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Messaggero.

New Roma owner Dan Friedkin is looking to overhaul the management structure at the club and in addition to extending current chief executive Guido Fenga’s contract, which is due to expire in October, he wants a new sporting director at the club as they are currently without a sporting director having parted ways with Gianluca Petrachi last month.

Ausilio, who could leave Inter, aside, Juventus’ Fabio Paratici and Napoli’s Cristiano Giuntoli are potential candidates to become the sporting director of the Italian capital city club.

The report from Il Messaggero goes on to explain that it cannot be ruled out that Friedkin could opt to bring in someone he trusts to fill the vacancy.
