Inter have an agreement in principle with Sandro Tonali and have had an agreement with Brescia for weeks too according to a report from the online edition of Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
Inter have an agreement in place over personal terms with Tonali on the basis of a five year contract that will see Tonali earn €2 million a year initially and earn €3 million a year by the end of the deal.
As for the agreement with Brescia, it is on the basis of a loan with obligation to buy deal. Inter will pay €10 million for the loan and €25 million to buy him outright, the report continues.
However, according to the report, the clubs are yet to meet to sign the papers due to the fact Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino is stalling and holding out for more money.
According to the report, AC Milan have shown an interest but are unable to match Inter’s offer.
However, when Juventus appointed Andrea Pirlo as manager, Cellino decided to wait and see if they will match or better Inter’s offer.
But they are yet to do that nor have they shown an interest in doing that and for this reason Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is confident about getting a deal done, the report concludes
