Matias Vecino wants a move to a top club in the event he leaves Inter according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Uruguayan national team player is currently rehabbing after undergoing surgery on a knee problem last month and has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season.
The former Fiorentina player wishes to move to a top club if he is to leave Inter or at the very least move to another club who are competing in the Champions League, Di Marzio reports
Vecino, who has featured just twice for Inter since the 2019/20 season got back underway in June due to the injury and reports elsewhere in the media have spoken about a potential swap deal which would see him and Napoli’s Allan exchanged.
This season the 28-year-old has made 25 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored three goals and registered a single assist.
