The report details how the 33-year-old Argentine star’s contract expires with the Blaugrana at the end of next season and currently talks regarding a contract extension are on hold.

After the club’s trashing in Europe, Messi is looking to take some time to think his future through and decide whether to leave for a new adventure or stay with his beloved club.

Messi wants sweeping changes across the club’s management, the report continues, and a failure to make changes could force the star to look for a new home.

Considering his age, Messi has roughly one large contract remaining in his career, and so could decide to have a change of air in that time. Inter are following the situation closely and are dreaming of bringing the player to Milan.
