The future of Roma striker Edin Dzeko is unclear, as Inter coach Antonio Conte incredibly keen to sign the Bosnian, according to a report from Italian newspaper Messaggero earlier today.

The report details how the 34-year-old Bosnian striker signed a new three-year deal with the Giallorossi last summer, but could depart only a year later considering the current issues in Rome.

Juventus are monitoring his situation closely and Conte is always keen to sign the experienced veteran, who could be the perfect backup for Romelu Lukaku.

Dzeko wants to talk with the club’s new owners before making a decision, the report continues, and considering that he will have his third child in September, may not look to move away from the Italian capital.

If he stays with the Roman side, he’ll be earning around €7.5 million a season. The player scored 19 goals and provided 14 assists in 43 appearances this season, being a core part of the Giallorossi squad.
