Inter will face competition from RB Leipzig should they look to sign Atalanta wingback Robin Gosens, according to a report from German broadcaster Sky Sports Deutschland earlier today.

The report details how the Champions League semi-finalists are interested in acquiring the 26-year-old German wingback, who has never hidden his desire to play in the Bundesliga.

Contracted to Atalanta until 2022, Gosens has impressed again this season under coach Gian Piero Gasperini and also attracted the attention of Inter, who are looking for a new left wingback.

RB Leipzig believe Gosens would be the ideal replacement for Angelino, who will return to Manchester City at the end of the season, the report continues.

The Nerazzurri aren’t looking to carry out any business whilst they are still in contention for the Europa League, and so risk losing out to the German side should they continue talks whilst still competing in the Champions League.
