Inter’s Primavera squad will face Rennes in the first round of the UEFA Youth League finals tomorrow afternoon, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the match was supposed to be played at the start of March, but the Nerazzurri’s management refused to take part in the game and risk their players’ health, due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The club risked taking a 3-0 loss in the game, but UEFA quickly agreed and suspended the game.

The Nerazzurri’s Primavera squad trained in Chatillon yesterday to prepare for the match, the report continues, and the squad will feature many different faces compared to the one that was supposed to play in March, due to players who have joined the first team or been sold by the club.

The winner of tomorrow’s game will face the winners of Juventus against Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
