Inter owned winger Ivan Perisic wants to make his stay with German giants Bayern Munich permanent and his agents will meet with the club next week, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.
The report details how the 31-year-old Croatian forward has enjoyed being a part of the strong Bundesliga squad this season, winning the German league title and reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League after an emphatic 8-2 win over Barcelona earlier this week.
His agents will meet with Bayern next week to discuss a permanent stay in Bavaria. Before the coronavirus pandemic Inter wanted €20 million for Perisic, the report continues, but may be willing to settle now for €15 million.
Bayern, on the other hand, don’t want to pay over €10 million. There is no shortage of clubs interested in Perisic, with Tottenham and Leeds in England both keen on the 2018 World Cup finalist, who instead would prefer to stay with Bayern.
