Inter have no intention of parting ways with Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, although he will be brought up in the end of season meeting between coach Antonio Conte and the club’s management, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.
The report details how the club’s management have reiterated to the 28-year-old Dane, who joined the Nerazzurri from Tottenham in a deal worth around €27.5 million in January, that his future with the club is in no doubt.
The Milanese club still have faith in the player and understand the difficult eight months it’s been in Italy. Whilst surprises cannot be ruled out, the report continues, the intention is to keep him, especially if he impresses against Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk and in the Europa League final.
Eriksen has made 24 appearances for Inter across all competitions so far this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists in that time.
