Inter president Steven Zhang landed in Dusseldorf earlier today, ahead of tomorrow evening’s Europa League final between the Nerazzurri and Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 28-year-old Chinese businessman landed in Dusseldorf alongside CEO Beppe Marotta, sporting director Piero Ausilio and his assistant Dario Baccin. The executives underwent the necessary Coronavirus tests yesterday, which all came back negative. They will be present for the Nerazzurri’s first European semi-finals since the Treble winning campaign, against Shakhtar tomorrow evening in a one-legged game in a neutral venue.

Following on from the Europa League campaign, the executives will meet with coach Antonio Conte, the report continues. A meeting regarding transfer market objectives and his future has been delayed until the conclusion of the tournament, as they don’t want to affect the squad. The Nerazzurri’s potential opponents in the final would be Manchester United or Sevilla.
