Radja Nainggolan remains a transfer target for Cagliari according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Belgian central midfielder spent the duration of the 2019/20 season on loan with the Rossoblu from Inter and the Sardinia based club would like to keep a hold of him.

Keeping him at the club however will depend on Inter manager Antonio Conte and what he decides for the former Roma player, who was judged as being out of Inter’s project ahead of this season.

Some reports in the media have suggested that Nainggolan could potentially be reintegrated into the first team picture at Inter whilst others have stated he could be sold to raise transfer funds or used as part of a deal to sign another player.

The 32-year-old made 29 appearances across all competitions for Cagliari during his loan spell. In just under 2300 minutes on the park, he has scored six goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
