Paris Saint-Germain have contacted Arturo Vidal’s representatives over a move to the French capital according to a report from the online edition of Chilean news outlet La Cuarta.

Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be ready to offer Vidal a big contract and they are hopeful that Vidal could perhaps free himself from Barcelona, who he is currently under contract with until the end of the upcoming season.

Vidal could be one of a number of players to leave Barcelona as they look to overhaul their ageing squad and he has also been strongly linked with a potential move to Inter for some time now too.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is understood to be keen to work with Vidal again following the success that they enjoyed together whilst at Juventus.

During the 2019/20 season, which ended a few days ago for Barcelona with an 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Vidal made 43 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored eight goals and provided three assists.
