Inter manager Antonio Conte and Inter president Steven Zhang met yesterday but it had nothing to do with the much-anticipated meeting which will come at the end of the season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Conte’s future as Inter manager is right up in the air after his most recent public outburst after Inter’s Serie A season finale against Atalanta a few weeks back and after Inter’s Europa League campaign comes to an end, he will meet with Zhang to discuss his future.

There are many issues which will be addressed in this meeting from Conte’s future as manager and his media handling but for now the focus is tonight’s Europa League semi final against Shakhtar Donetsk.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that upon his arrival in Dusseldorf, Germany, Zhang went around and spoke to each and every member of the squad and gave them words of encouragement ahead of tonight’s encounter.
