Lionel Messi could have a ‘Last Dance’ style reunion with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The Barcelona and Argentine national team star’s future is right up in the air and many reports have suggested that Messi could well leave the Blaugrana club in the not too distant future for a new challenge.

Inter have been heavily linked with Messi, who has bought property in the city of Milan as well as his father.

Manchester City are also interested and are said to be prepared to spend any amount to bring Messi to the club where he would be reunited with former manager Pep Guardiola.

Messi and Guardiola could link up again for a ‘Last Dance’, the phrase NBA franchise Chicago Bulls’ then coach Phil Jackson used to describe the final season of the Bulls’ dynasty in the 1990s.
