Emerson Palmieri continues to be Inter’s number one target when it comes to left wing-back according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Despite Inter making fresh contact for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic, Emerson is still Inter’s top target and the Brazilian born Italian national team player is open to completing a move to the Nerazzurri club.

Chelsea are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester City and this arrival will only push Emerson further away from the Premier League club, who want a sum of €30 million to part ways with him.

The sum is currently out of Inter’s reach as they are currently focused on selling players to raise funds for the transfer window.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that if Inter do not reach an agreement with Bayern Munich, Ivan Perisic will return to Inter and the same goes for Radja Nainggolan, who has spent the past season on loan at Cagliari.

Valentino Lazaro is meanwhile set to leave the club for Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach.
