Lautaro Martinez was Inter’s best performing player in yesterday’s 5-0 thumping of Shakhtar Donetsk in the Europa League semi final according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Argentine national team player scored a brace and provided an assist in the emphatic win over the Ukrainian Premier League champions and looked much like his usual self again after a period of poor form. He has been given a rating of 8.5/10 for his efforts at the Merkur Spiel-Arena.

Nicolo Barella and Romelu Lukaku, who also grabbed himself a pair of goals, were Inter’s next best performers on the night with them both being given ratings of 8/10.

Third goalscorer Danilo D’Ambrosio was given 7.5/10 whilst Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni, Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Gagliardini all got 7/10.

Cristiano Biraghi, Ashley Young and Samir Handanovic were Inter’s worst performers with them being given ratings of 6.5.
