Brescia sporting director Giorgio Perinetti has stressed that it is too early to take anything for granted with regard to the future of Sandro Tonali, who he admits could well leave the club in the coming months.

The highly rated Italian national team central midfielder has been heavily linked with a potential switch to a whole array of clubs with Inter among the most interested in signing him.

Juventus and AC Milan have both also been linked with Tonali as have a host of clubs outside of Italy given his status as one of the most promising Italian prospects out there right now.

“It is useless to avoid it, Tonali is one of the players who could leave Brescia. He is a boy who has important interest being shown in him, but I would not take anything for granted,” he explained in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli during their ‘Radio Goal’ show, earlier on today.

Perinetti then went on to add that Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino will deal with everything.

“Everything is open, the president Massimo Cellino is managing everything. I imagine Tonali could be the focal point of the Brescia transfer market but it is premature to take everything for granted and definitive.”

During the 2019/20 season, Tonali, who is under contract with Brescia until 2022, scored one goal and tallied seven assists in 36 appearances across all competitions to date.
