Inter have already began work on the transfer market but the work has been put on standby for the time being according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

There are two reasons for Inter putting things on hold the report from the Rome based news outlet explains with the first reason being that Inter are focused on Friday night’s Europa League final, in which Inter could pick up their first piece of silverware in nine years.

The second reason is due to the ongoing uncertainty with regard to Antonio Conte’s future as manager of the club. The uncertainty was brought about following Conte’s most recent public outburst after Inter’s final Serie A match of the 2019/20 season against Atalanta.

If Conte remains in charge, the current project will be continued with but if he does not stay in charge and is replaced by Max Allegri, just like he was at Juventus, then things will change.
