Inter will only move for Roma captain Edin Dzeko if Lautaro Martinez is to depart the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

If Lautaro is to stay with the club, Inter will bring back an academy graduate in Andrea Pinamonti, currently at Genoa, to fill the fourth striker role and complete the Nerazzurri attack.

If the highly rated 22-year-old Argentine national team player, who has been linked strongly to Barcelona among others, Inter will bring in a more experienced head to bolster the attack and that player would be Dzeko.

Dzeko is a player Inter have had an interest in signing for over a year now with them having pursued him last Summer prior to him signing a contract extension with the Giallorossi club.

In the 2019/20 season, Dzeko made 43 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 19 goals and provided 14 assists for his teammates.
