Negotiations between Inter and Chelsea over Emerson Palmieri are at the final stage according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Brazilian born Italian national team wing-back is set to complete a return to Italy after a few years in England with the London based club.

He is expecting Chelsea to slightly lower their €30 million demands for him but the report from the Milan based news outlet states that the deal is otherwise done and things could be finalised after the Europa League final, which Inter are playing in tomorrow night against Sevilla.

Inter have been courting Emerson for some time as they look to bolster their left wing-back department having already bolstered at right wing-back with the €45 million acqusition of Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid ahead of the upcoming season which there is a belief Inter can do really well in.
