Inter have set a new club record for number of goals scored in a single season following their emphatic 5-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Europa League semi final on Monday night according to sports data and analysis company Opta.
Inter have scored a grand total of 111 goals across all competitions this term and have overtaken the previous record that they had for goals scored a single season which they initially set in 1950/51 and then matched in the 2006/07 season.
