Inter’s owners Suning will become the first Asian owners of a European club to win a continental competition if Inter win the Europa League according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are to play in the Europa League final tomrorow night against La Liga outfit Sevilla and in addition to potentially becoming the first Asian club owners to win a continental competition in Europe, Suning’s Inter could also pick up their first piece of silverware since they took over back in the Summer of 2016.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Inter president Steven Zhang could also be the youngest president in club history to achieve success if Inter win the Europa League as he will be just 28 years and eight months old.

Sevilla versus Inter is scheduled to kick off tomorrow night at 21:00 local time in Cologne, Germany with the match to be played at Bundesliga club FC Koln’s RheinEnergieSTADION.
