Inter club captain and number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic heads the list of 10 Inter players who have never won a trophy in their career ahead of tonight’s Europa League final against Sevilla according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Handanovic is now 36-years-old and time is running out for him to pick up some silverware and he is just as eager as some of the younger members of the team who are also trophyless to pick up his first winners medal.
Sebastiano Esposito, Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, Lautaro Martinez have all not won a trophy but unlike Handanovic do certainly have a lot of time on their hands to change that seeing as that they are at the opposite ends of their careers.
Roberto Gagliardini, Stefano Sensi, Cristiano Biraghi also have not won a trophy nor have Daniele Padelli and Danilo D’Ambrosio.
