Italian Media Claim Max Allegri & Staff On High Alert Waiting For Outcome Of Meeting Between Inter Coach Conte & President Zhang

Former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is ready to return to work and is anxiously awaiting the outcome of the meeting between Inter coach Antonio Conte and the board next week, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

The report details how Allegri has been planning his possible Inter for a while now and has already alerted his faithful staff Marco Landucci, Simone Folletti and Maurizio Trombetta that a new adventure is on the horizon.

The 53-year-old Italian is waiting to see what will happen at next week’s meeting between Conte and the board.

Six years ago, Conte resigned from Juventus after disagreements with the board regarding transfer targets, the report continues, and was replaced by Allegri, a situation that could be repeated again soon.

Allegri won 11 trophies in his five years in charge of the Bianconeri and has a good relationship with Inter CEO Beppe Marotta from their time together in Turin.
