The report details how the Blaugrana have restarted talks because the Nerazzurri’s season has finally concluded, with their 3-2 loss in the Europa League final to Sevilla yesterday. Talks stopped in July to allow the club to focus on the end of the season and their European campaign, but Barcelona are keen to get things back on track.
Lautaro is still the Catalan side’s top priority, the report continues, and so they will be working hard to secure his signature as soon as possible. Signing the 23-year-old Argentine forward would also be a positive step toward convincing star Lionel Messi to stay with the club, amidst reports that he’s looking for a move away due to the direction that the club has taken since the sale of Brazilian star Neymar.
