Inter coach Antonio Conte has decided to go on holiday in Liguria after the Europa League final and ahead of his meeting with the Nerazzurri’s executives next week, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset earlier today.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach decided to visit the town of Bergeggi in Liguria in order to relax for a few days during this stressful period. The Nerazzurri lost the Europa League final 3-2 to Spanish side Sevilla, which led the former Chelsea and Juventus coach to making emotionally charged comments in the media alluding to an early departure from the club.

Conte will meet with president Steven Zhang and the other top executives next week on Tuesday, the report continues, in order to discuss his future and his complaints. The Chinese businessman will do everything he can to convince Conte to stay, but is unlikely to make any sweeping management changes.
