Italian Media Detail Conte’s Issues With Inter Such As Media Leaks & Handling Of The Threat

Inter coach Antonio Conte’s main issues with the Nerazzurri’s management aren’t related to transfers but instead leaks and lack of support from the club in the media, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper il Giorno.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach will meet with the club’s executives and president Steven Zhang next week on Tuesday to discuss his future with the club and the issues he wants fixing. Conte doesn’t believe that the club have protected him and the squad in the media for harsh criticisms, especially during difficult parts of the season.

Conte is also unhappy with the leaks within the club, the report continues, with one example being the disagreement between Romelu Lukaku and Marcelo Brozovic after Inter’s Champions League disappointment against Slavia Prague early in the season. He is also angry at the situation involving the threat and bullet sent in the mail in November, where he wanted more support him and his family.
