Inter coach Antonio Conte’s future will be clear on Tuesday, and the Nerazzurri aren’t confident of keeping the 51-year-old Italian, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how Conte wants significant investments to be made this summer in the squad and possibly changes in the backroom staff, two things that Inter aren’t willing to provide. The club do want to reconcile with the coach and mend their relationship with him, but are aware that his resignation is possible. They have no intention of firing the former Chelsea boss due to his high wages and the two years left on his deal.

If Conte doesn’t resign, there is a risk that he could start next season still in charge but unhappy, the report continues, and so for that reason talks regarding possible compensation could take place after Tuesday’s meeting if he does agree to resign on certain conditions.
