A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera discussed the meeting between Inter coach Antonio Conte and the Nerazzurri’s top executives, suggesting that Suning founder and president Jindong Zhang could get involved.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach’s future is currently unclear at the club after outbursts in the media and complaints about the management, and so the meeting on Tuesday will be a decisive step towards discovering what will happen to Conte. He will meet with the club’s top executives including president Steven Zhang, who wants to mend the wounds and fix the situation before the start of pre-season training, and his father Jindong Zhang could even get involved.

Wednesday next week, the day after the meeting, will also be an important day as details will begin to be ironed out, the report continues. Neither side wants to get involved in a legal dispute and if he does leave then the least painful solution will be found. Inter don’t want to fire Conte considering that he still has two years remaining on his contract, worth €12 million net per season.
