Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is still Barcelona’s top transfer priority but the club need to raise the money to make a new offer, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo earlier today.

The report details how the 23-year-old Argentine forward’s value didn’t increase thanks to the Nerazzurri’s bitter 3-2 loss to Sevilla in the Europa League final on Friday, a good fact for the Blaugrana considering that they are still focusing on acquiring the player this summer. The Blaugrana believe he would be the perfect replacement for the aging Luis Suarez, who recently suggested that he wouldn’t mind being a more rotational player next season.

Before Barcelona can do anything, they need to raise funds, the report continues, by selling unneeded players, as they cannot currently afford Lautaro. Inter refused their previous offer of €70 million in cash plus full back Junior Firpo, who the Catalan side valued at €41 million.
