Inter manager Antonio Conte expects three big names to be signed in the upcoming transfer window to further bridge the gap between Inter and arch rivals Juventus according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Conte wants a big name player signed for the defence, midfield and the attack and the transfer market will be one of the key topics in the meeting between Conte and Inter president Steven Zhang which will take place today or tomorrow.
Inter have already signed Achraf Hakimi and will certainly make important purchases in the transfer window whilst there could be a few starters who leave the club, namely Lautaro Martinez and Milan Skirniar.
Inter want to avoid sacking Conte at all costs due to the fact he is due to earn €12 million net a year for the next two seasons but at the same time they no longer trust Conte and consider him remaining in charge of the club as being counterproductive.
Conte’s future is right up in the air due to comments made following the match against Atalanta and he only fueled speculation that his future could be elsewhere with his comments following Inter’s Europa League final loss on Friday.
