Inter president Steven Zhang has accepted one of Inter manager Antonio Conte’s requests according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

That request is that Zhang and Conte will meet without any other members of the club management being present in order to take stock of the current situation and discuss his future with the club. This meeting will take place tomorrow.

The report explains that Conte is not convinced that what he was telling club management was being exactly repeated to Zhang without being adapted to suit the ideas of Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio in particular.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Zhang is furious at Conte for the way in which he has handled the past few months and if there is a chance of recomposition, it relies solely on the meeting that Zhang and Conte will have.
