In today’s print edition, Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport have examined how Inter’s transfer market business could change if Antonio Conte leaves and Max Allegri is appointed in his place.

Inter’s transfer market business is entirely dependent on who the club’s manager will be and with Conte and Allegri having different footballing ideas, the transfer window that the club will have will be very different depending on which of them is in charge.

In the event that Allegri takes charge, Inter will seek a very physical midfielder, while those who seemed destined to exit such as Milan Skriniar will stay. Therefore if a sacrifice is required, Inter will sell Marcelo Brozovic or Lautaro Martinez.

Allegri wants a new left back and a very physical midfielder, not Sandro Tonali, who Inter will sign during the course of this week.

When it comes to left back, Allegri would like Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri and if Allegri was given complete freedom to choose the physical midfielder, he would choose Borussia Dortmund’s Emre Can but the German will not come cheap.
