Torino central defender Armando Izzo may not end up signing for Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Inter have been linked with making a move for Izzo for some time with Inter manager Antonio Conte understood to be a big fan of his but they face competition from fellow Serie A club Atalanta for his signature.

Torino have set an asking price of €25 million for Izzo who is almost guaranteed to leave the Turin based club in the transfer window and the report claims that as much as Atalanta are interested, they are unwilling to meet La Granata’s asking price.

During the recently concluded 2019/20 Serie A season, 28-year-old Italian national team player Izzo made 37 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totalled just over 3200 minutes, the former Genoa player scored three goals and helped Torino to keep a total of nine clean sheets.
